Assisted and Respite
Care for the Elderly
Our home has private rooms for six residents. Five long
term beds and one respite bed. We also offer day care for
those who just need 1 hour or 24 hour care. The owners’
family live with the residents with separate kitchen and bath
facilities. The residents have two bathrooms, one is fully equipped handicapped accessible.
All Country Care staff members are required to be CPR certified, and have a
Certified Nursing Assistance certificate. The President of the facility is a
Certified Respiratory Therapist, and a former Director of Respiratory Therapy,
EKG, EEG, Echocardiography, and Sleep lab at St. Mary Community Hospital.

rooms are private and can be rearranged as needed.
| Mental
Status |
We accept Senile Dementia and
Alzheimer’s residents. However, they must be controllable, nonviolent,
and cooperative. |
| Continence |
Residents must be able to
maintain themselves through the night hours either using the bathroom, a
bedside commode, or depends. |
| Transfer |
Residents must be able to
transfer or be lightweight enough for one person to safely handle them. |
| Feeding |
We will assist in feeding and
have also been trained to assist with feeding tubes. |
| Special
Diets |
We are happy to accommodate
special diets. We are trained in diabetic care, including insulin
injections. |
The
location has 2 kitchens.
One
is used for the Residents, the
other is by the Care Providers.
